Annual Picnic

The Knights annual picnic is scheduled for Saturday August 15, 2026  and we would like to invite you, your family and friends to join us.

That day is the Assumption which is a holy day of obligation but there is plenty of time to get to Mass and the picnic.

The council will provide the main course of Tri-Tip and also beverages, soda, water, beer, etc.

The picnic will be at the Sycamore shelter at Shumway Oak Grove Regional Park.  The picnic starts at noon for snacks and socializing with food served around 2:00PM.

We would like members to contribute a salad, appetizer, side dish or dessert. Please contribute according to the first letter of your last name as follows:
A – F : Desserts
G – L : Side Dishes
M – R : Salads
S – Z : Appetizers/snacks

We’re looking forward to seeing our members who are too busy with young families and work schedules to join us at other events. Bring out the family and have a nice afternoon at the park.

The picnic is free but the park charges a $6.00 entry fee, which the council does not cover.
